What To Expect

During your first visit, we'll get to learn everything about how your pain and impairments affect your daily activities and responsibilities. We will develop a sound plan for your recovery and use this as a guide for the duration of your care.

You'll meet with the same Physical Therapist every visit, ensuring the continuity needed for your recovery.  Every time you meet you'll go over your progress and any potential barriers you are encountering. Life can be unpredictable, and your symptoms may fluctuate from day to day. As a result, we will adapt your treatment plan to meet your current needs.

Expect to move, reduce your pain, improve your strength and regain your independence.

Kira Alanis

Front Desk Coordinator

Founder, Physical Therapist

Dr. Clifford Bachiman has been helping Bergen County residents move better and feel better for over twelve years. Dr. Cliff holds a B.S. in Exercise Science and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University. He is also a certified Exercise Physiologist, an advanced Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, a PWR!Moves Certified Therapist and is a certified Dry Needling Practitioner through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy.

In addition to working in outpatient clinics throughout his career, Dr. Cliff has had the opportunity to treat patients bedside in the hospital, at rehab facilities, in health clubs, at their place of work, and in the comfort of their own homes.  These diverse experiences give Dr. Cliff a unique perspective and allows him to be a more versatile and effective physical therapist.

As a patient himself, Dr. Cliff acknowledges the mental and physical strain that comes with pain and injuries, and understands what it feels like to receive the right care.

Dr. Cliff is passionate about getting you better and excited to be a part of your journey.

Dr. Jeremy Bate earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Kean University. His passion for physical therapy began after his aunt suffered a severe back injury from a fall. Watching her navigate rehab in a crowded clinic—where care was rushed and exercises were unsupervised—Jeremy realized how much better her recovery could have been with true, individualized attention.

Driven by this experience, Jeremy joined Pulse Physical Therapy to deliver the high-quality, doctor-led care every patient deserves. He specializes in orthopedics, neurology, and cardiology, with expertise spanning sports injuries, post-operative rehab, chronic pain, balance training, and neurological recovery. He is committed to uncovering the root cause of pain and building tailored programs that help patients reach their specific goals.

Outside the clinic, Jeremy enjoys playing guitar, chess, gaming, cooking, working out, and spending time with family.

Kira joined the Pulse Physical Therapy team in early 2026 as our Front Desk Coordinator. Responsible for day-to-day clinic operations, she manages scheduling, logistics, and patient coordination to ensure every visit runs seamlessly. Kira serves as the primary liaison between our patients, clinical staff, and professional medical network. Beyond front-desk operations, she leads creative social media initiatives to keep the Pulse community engaged. Kira balances her strong operational focus with a bright, welcoming energy—ensuring every patient feels supported and comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.

Outside the clinic, Kira enjoys beach days, Marvel movie marathons, and running with her Maltipoo, Brody.
